Cellular Jail Timings

The timings for the visit are from 8:45 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 4:45 pm. The entry fee for a visitor is ₹30 (Indian) / ₹200 (Foreign).
While if you wish to take a camera for non-professional videography then the entry fee is ₹200. If you are a video blogger with a professional camera you will be allowed to take it in for a ticket of worth ₹1,000. For film shooting the ticket is ₹10,000.
The museums of the Cellular Jail remain closed on government holidays and Mondays.
The Cellular Jail, also known as Kalapani Jail, is a significant historical landmark in Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. This former colonial prison, which once held Indian freedom fighters and political prisoners, now serves as a museum and national memorial.

Sound and Light Show
The Sound and Light Show is a major attraction, held every evening except Mondays and National Holidays. The show narrates the story of the Cellular Jail and the Indian freedom struggle through a moving display of lights, music, and narration.
